Vanessa is a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute with over 20 years' experience working in both the private and public sectors.
She qualified from The University of Sheffield with an honours degree in Landscape Design & Plant Science, before achieving a Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture.
Vanessa prides herself on her professionalism and commitment in all aspects of her work. She often works within a multi-disciplinary team of other professionals on planning and design matters. Alternatively, she is also happy to work alone offering advice and expertise to individuals and professional clients on all aspects of external environmental design.
The aim of The Plant Room is to provide quality, robust designs which balance effectively the requirements of the client against the constraints often imposed by items such as budget, site location and planning requirements.
Whilst personally overseeing all aspects of each commission Vanessa is able to provide continuity for the client with the aim of creating a holistic end product.
